ACS to promote sustainable tourism in the region

Guatemala will host an Association of Caribbean States, ACS, meeting Friday this week which aims to strengthen sustainable tourism in the region.

During the meeting, ACS representatives will discuss the establishment of the Sustainable Tourism Zone of the Caribbean, the first of its kind in the world.

Other topics to be discussed include promoting the region as a multi-destination area, as well as best sustainable tourism practices.
