Adidas and Nike products to be made in Nicaraguan free zones. Next year $125 million expected to be invested

Adidas garments and sports products are to be made from Nicaragua’s free zones to be exported to the United States.

The products will be made by Gusta, a company that will be set up in the free zones next year. “Adidas is going to be producing in the country and its going to be known as made Nicaragua, the same as Nike,” said an official.

The entry of both brands forms part of next year’s plans for the free zones, which are expected to invest $125 million.
