Aeroman, the Salvadoran airplane maintenance contractor, has plans to launch a $20 million operations line, its eighth.
However, the government’s autonomous port authority requires the project to involve a $2-3 million investment.
Roberto Kriete, chairman of the board of Avianca-TACA, said that Aeroman’s project will have to wait on government spending on the airport’s internal and approach roads network.
