Aeromexico sees growth in domestic market

Aeromexico will end this year with a 38 percent market share in the Mexican commercial aviation market, chief executive officer Andrés Costas said.

The growth, up from 32 percent in 2013, will be due to the addition of new routes and frequencies, Costas added.

So far this year, the carrier has added eight flights to and from the northern city of Monterrey, in the state of Nuevo León, and has cut prices down as much as 10 percent in some of its routes.
