Friday, June 11, 2010

Trash will be the raw material for a methane-gas plant to be built in an El Salvador rubbish dump by US energy company AES.

The plant will begin with a modest six megawatts, but later is expected to grow to 24 megawatts.

Total investment in the project is expected to reach $43 million.
