Agritourism gains more popularity in Panama

Agritourism is increasingly becoming a more popular activity in Panama.

In September alone, eight ranches were given permission to operate as tourism venues in the province of Chiriquí by the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, adding to the 40 ranches which already have permission.

Panama has some 2,000 agritourism ranches, divided into agro-industrial, food and non-food ranches.
