AirXpanders to supply US hospitals from Costa Rican plant

US-based AirXpanders announced that it has transferred its manufacturing to a contract manufacturer in Costa Rica to produce its AeroForm breast tissue expansion system. The manufacturing capability for the device at the facility is now operational.

The production facility will help the company manufacture AeroForm expanders more cost-efficiently to produce a higher volume. AeroForm is currently available in more than 100 hospitals in the U.S.
