Alliance with Chile’s Socofar breathes new life into Costa Rican pharmacy Cefa

A major capital injection has given new life to the expansion projects of Cefa, a Costa Rican pharmacy chain.

Empresas Socofar of Chile has taken a 50 percent stake in Cefa.

“This new alliance will allow us to expand and create new jobs in Costa Rica and Nicaragua,” said Arnaldo Garnier, chairman of Cefa’s board.
