Alstom to supply 70 trains for Panama Metro

Metro de Panama has selected an Alstom-led consortium to supply additional cars for Line 1.

Under the $170 million contract awarded to the consortium of Alstom, Thales, Sofratesa, CIM and TSO, Alstom will supply 70 metro cars, Thales and Sofratesa will provide ATS, telecom and auxiliary systems, while TSO/CIM are in charge of the track, catenary and depot equipment.
