Altair Nanotechnologies to deploy system for Inversiones Energéticas in El Salvador

Altair Nanotechnologies (Altairnano) says it has been selected by Inversiones Energéticas, one of El Salvador's largest electric utilities, to provide a 10-megawatt advanced battery system for frequency control.

Under the proposed agreement, Altairnano would be responsible for site preparation, system installation, training, final testing and commissioning of the total solution. The system will be located at the Talnique power station of Inversiones Energeticas.
