America Movil adds 193,000 subscribers in Central America and Caribbean

Mexico-based America Movil  has reported that its first-quarter revenues in Central America and the Caribbean increase 4.5 percent year-on-year to $910 million.

The numbers were split almost evenly between wireless and wire-line.

Wireless gross service revenues rose 11.5 percent buoyed by a 77.7 percent increase in mobile data revenues.
