América Móvil beats Mexican TV firms to $40 billion

Mexican TV firms Televisa and TV Azteca will lose some $40 billion after losing out on the Winter Olympics transmission rights.
Carlos Slim's América Móvil bought the rights for transmitting the games through his telecoms firm América Móvil.
Slim payed some $100 million for the deal, according to estimates.
