America Movil misses estimates as profit margin falls

America Movil Latin America’s largest wireless carrier, can’t shake off the effect of regulatory sanctions in Mexico, where profit margins dropped to the lowest ever.

Earnings fell 5.1 percent to $3.4 billion, leaving out interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, the Mexico City-based company said.
