Argentina plans auto exports to Central America

With the goal of exporting vehicles, a team of Argentinian auto producers and government officials will this month visit El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras.
The auto sector seeks distribution in new markets.
In addition, producers are concerned about a potentially weak consumer market for several years in Brazil, normally an important vehicle buyer.
Any plan to export cars to Central America would need agreement from global manufacturers and local dealers.
With few exceptions, every brand of vehicle made in Argentina is available throughout the Isthmus.
