As peace talks hit impasse, bloodshed returns to Nicaragua

Following the closure on Wednesday of the "national dialogue", violence raged through the night in parts of Nicaragua.

The worst clashes were in the cities of León and Chinandega, where more deaths added to the current total of 78 since the disturbances began last month.
