Atlántida, Occidente and Ficohsa lead the rankings for banking groups in Honduras

The banking system in Honduras produced significant results in its ranking for last year.

Three Honduran-owned companies -- Atlántida, Occidente and Ficohsa -- were the leaders in net assets, with 47 percent of the total.

Overall, Honduran-owned banks controlled 58 percent of the system’s net assets.
