Monday, January 7, 2013

Audi is very keen to break ground on the construction of a completely new ground-up plant, which is set to be built in San José Chiapa, Mexico.

Pans are to commence construction in 2014, and once up and running, the plant will deliver 150,000 Q5 SUVs to the major nearby markets.

Production of the Q5 is set to commence in May of 2016, and it will grow within the first few years from under 100,000 units, to the 150,000 units they plan to produce.
