Avianca offers new promotional fee for region

Colombian airline Avianca announced a new promotional fee of $199 for flights between Central American countries.

The airline said it decided to offer that fee as it is "committed to Central America's tourism integration".

Central American tourism authorities in the past have pointed out that expensive flights, usually between $600 and $700 for flights within the region, is affecting tourism.
