Avianca seeks international partner to boost growth

Bogotá-based Avianca Holdings, which has a major presence in Central and South America, is seeking an international partner to boost its growth, according to the Bloomberg news agency.

Some other big hitters in the sector are mulling an approach to Avianca but three have already asked to be considered. They are Panama’s Copa Airlines and two US carriers, United Continental and Delta, the agency said.
