Aviation boosts economies throughout Central America

Aviation supports more than 859,000 jobs and makes a $18 billion contribution in gross value added to the combined GDP of the Central American countries, said Peter Cerda, IATA’s regional vice president.

Meanwhile Air France will offer a new flight between Paris and Panama City from October 29, which will bring to seven it operates each week.

And Spirit Airlines, ,recently announced that it will open seven new routes to destinations in Central America, including Guatemala City, Panama City, San José, San Pedro Sula and San Salvador.
