Canada-based B2Gold produced 37,000 oz in the fourth quarter of 2010, a new record for the company, and said it now expects to produce as much as 135,000 oz of gold this year.
The company, which owns the La Libertad and Limon mines in Nicaragua, reported a full-year output of around 109,000 oz for 2010.
B2Gold bought the La Libertad operation, then called the Orosi mine, when it acquired Central Sun Mining in 2009.
