Banana growers in Costa Rica aim for better marketing in order to boost exports
Costa Rican banana growers are analyzing the possibility of improving production, marketing and expanding the market, in order to strengthen exports.
Their goal is to improve the performance of the fruit's exports, which is currently Costa Rica's second export after electronic components.
Last year, banana exports generated $768 million, and creates around 40 thousand direct jobs and around 100 thousand indirect jobs.
