Bank of Mexico cuts growth estimate for this year

The Bank of Mexico lowered its 2016 economic growth estimate, citing expectations for weaker demand for Mexican goods from U.S. manufacturers and the slowdown in the global economy.

In its fourth-quarter inflation report, the central bank said it expects gross domestic product in Mexico to expand between 2 and 3 percent this year.
