Bayer opens $12 million plant to make medical device

The Bayer Group opened a plant for the production of a non-reversible permanent contraceptive device today, with an investment of $12 million and an initial employment generation for up to 75 people.
The plant, located in the Zona Franca Metropolitana in Barreal de Heredia covers about 1,400 square meters.
