BBVA: Mexico could grow 4 percent with reforms

Thursday, November 21, 2013

Mexico has potential to grow 4 percent if the government correctly implements its planned structural reforms, said José Manuel González, executive adviser at Spain's BBVA bank.

Speaking at the inauguration of the 15th edition of Foro Latibex in Mexico City, González said Latin America could grow up to 3.1 percent next year, as external demand recovers and Mexico's economy rebounds.

"Latin America is in one of its best moments in history and is one the world's regions with most growth potential," he said.
