Better Work improves jobs in Nicaragua

Nicaragua is among the first countries in Latin America to successfully implement a program known as Better Work in the garment sector.

The program is led by the World Bank and the International Labor Organization, and aims to improve working conditions.

Some 38,000 employees in Nicaragua's garment sector have benefitted from the program.
