Biden makes clear conditions for aid

US vice-president Jose Biden told the presidents of Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador in the White House that they must fight corruption and stem emigration if they are to continue to receive US aid.

The US government has provided $750 million to the three countries in order to back economic and judicial reforms.
