Big hotel investment lifts spirits in El Salvador

Business leaders in El Salvador have planted a major symbol of their confidence in the country, despite its reputation as “the murder capital of the world”.

Real-estate developer Urbánica has announced a $17 million investment for the construction of a Marriott Fairfield hotel in San Salvador.
