Biofuels are essential for future of Costa Rica

Costa Rica should aim to use more biofuels, said José María Figueres, CEO of Carbon War Room.

The move would help the country improve its income and the health of its citizens, Costa Rican daily La República reported.

Biofuels would also help Costa Rica improve its exports to Europe, as starting next year the European Union will implement restrictions on countries with high air pollution levels.
