Biofuels to boom in Costa Rica’s Guanacaste province
From January, the composition and price of fuel distributed in Costa Rica’s Guanacaste province will be changed.
The state refinery, Recope, is extending to the whole of the province a pilot plan for the inclusion of alcohol in fuel.
The results of the first phase of the trial pointed to a lower imports bill for fuel and a reduction in pollution.
