Black Friday business newcomers had mixed fortunes

Some Central American businesses held their first Black Friday last week, although the results among buyers were mixed.

In Panama and Nicaragua, there was no considerable increase in shoppers, despite discounts reaching 50 percent.

In El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala and Colombia however, people were waiting outside shops before opening time to get hold of offers.

The businesses that took part were department stores, supermarkets, mobile phone companies and online shops.
