Bolivia will assist El Salvador geothermal project

Bolivia and El Salvador have reached an agreement for the start of a 5-MW geothermal pilot project in Bolivia, the country's energy ministry announced.

State-owned geothermal energy company LaGeo of El Salvador will be responsible for the project, assisting with the supervision, management, installation, technical specifications and engineering of the plant.
