Boston Scientific completes $10 million revamp for plant in Heredia, Costa Rica

Medical instruments manufacturer Boston Scientific has completed a revamp of its plant in Heredia, Costa Rica.
The new look, which cost $10 million, meets the company’s need to relocate manufacture of cardiac instruments that are currently made in the United States.
Boston Scientific said it evaluated the move in terms of the relationship between operating costs and product quality.
