Brazil and Nicaragua sign pacts to step up cooperation on bio-energy and efficiency

Brazil and Nicaragua signed new pacts in Brasilia to intensify energy cooperation.

 

Under the newly signed agreements, which are complementary to their technical cooperation agreement in 2006, Brazil will offer technical assistance in promoting the sustainable development of bioenergy and energy efficiency in Nicaragua.

 

In addition, the agreements aim at developing their joint projects in areas of bioenergy, plant carbonization and replacement of forests in Nicaragua.
