Britain's BG Group signs Honduras exploration deal

BG Group has signed an operating contract for an exploration license offshore Honduras.

BG Group, formerly British Gas, is based in the United Kingdom.

The concession, subject to approval by the Honduran National Congress, will cover an area of about 35,000 square kilometers.
