Business owners say 2016 will be key for Panama

Business owners in Panama are eyeing 2016 as a key year for the country, and are optimistic about its prospects.

"The projected growth of 6.3% is optimum,” said Julio De La Lastra, president of private-sector association Conep. Large projects such as the construction of line 2 of the Metro and the "Roofs of Hope" housing program will revive the economy, he added.
