Friday, June 22, 2018
Puerto Morelos, close to Cancun in the states of Quintana Roo, has developed a maritime trade circuit that links southern Mexico with Honduras and Guatemala.
The Morelos port authorities says that their cargo capacity has been doubled to 80,000 metric tons in the route that links Roatán in Honduras and Santo Tomás de Castilla in Guatemala.
Later pans include a connection with Jamaica, the main center of maritime distribution with the Caribbean.
