Car, health and life dominate Panama insurances

Car, health and life insurance policies account for 46 percent of the Panamanian insurance market.

The figure represents $419 million in policies up to September this year, according to the country's insurance authority.

Car insurance policies are the best performing, with $153 million, followed by health policies with $147 million.
