Car sales boost Costa Rica commerce

Automobile sales grew year on year by 16 percent in the first eight months of this year, according to chamber of commerce figures. By comparison, food and beverage sales rose by only 3.5 percent.

“This is the best year in history for sales of vehicles in Costa Rica,” said Miguel Gorrías, a leading figure in automobile marketing.
