Car sales in Mexico seen growing 6 percent

Car sales in Mexico will reach 1.12 million units by the end of the year, the Mexican vehicle distribution association said.

The figure would be 6 percent higher than for last year.

This year was complicated due to a drop in consumer confidence in the first half, but car company promotions and government support helped the sector recover in the second half, said the association's general director Guillermo Rosales.
