Car sales rev up in Mexico

Monday, September 22, 2014

Sales of new imported cars in Mexico grew 7.2 percent in the first eight months of the year, according to the country's auto industry association, AMIA.

Growth was boosted by the arrival of new Asian brands such as Hyundai and Mazda to the Mexican market, the association said.

From January to August this year, the number of new imported cars sold was 371,016.
