Carlos Slim is now FCC's biggest stakeholder

Spanish engineering firm FCC announced that Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim became its largest shareholder.
Slim expanded his holding in the firm after FCC carried out a seasoned equity offering worth $1.2 billion.
The company was badly hit after the Spanish real estate bubble burst in 2008, and until September this year reported a debt of $7.8 billion.
