Casual dining concept grows in Costa Rica

The casual dining business is gaining momentum in Costa Rica, with several restaurant chains announcing their plans to expand in the country, Costa Rican daily La República reported.

Among the companies with plans to add more restaurants in Costa Rica are Chili's, Hooters, Cosí and Johnny Rockets.

Since 2010, more than 100 casual dining restaurants have opened in Costa Rica.
