Wednesday, October 6, 2010

The government regulator, Sutel, requires that all cellular phones in Costa Rica must be  approved before they can be connected to the cellular network of the state monopoly, ICE.

Currently the Sutel has approved 60 different telephones from various manufactures, including Blackberry, Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Motorola, Huawei, ZTE, Apple, Alcatel, Samsung and LG.

The objective of the approval is to guarantee users a proper connection and obtain the best service and products from the network.
