Cellphone firms launch second round in Costa Rica

Costa Rica's second year of having an open telecommunications market promises to bring innovation and more competition among service providers, local newspaper La República reported.
One of the new services to be introduced this year will be video and television services accessible from any mobile device, starting in January.
Another new service to be introduced this year to the country is 4G technology, starting with state-owned Kölbi and Claro, subsidiary of Mexico's América Móvil.
