Cemex aims to sell out its Central American assets

Mexico's Cemex announced that it aims to sell almost all its assets in Central and South America.

Cemex, the biggest cement maker in the Americas, told Colombia's financial authorities that it will sell its minority interest in its Cemex Latam Holdings, which includes all of Latin America except Mexico.

In a statement, Cemex said it will float its stake in Latam Holdings in the Bogotá stock market, and make private placements elsewhere in Colombia.
