Central America encourages Spain to invest in region

Government representatives from Central America organized a meeting to encourage Spanish businesses to take advantage of the association agreement between the region and Europe.

The representatives emphasized that all Central American countries complement each other, in order to see the region as a whole rather than as individual countries.

However, each country presented its individual benefits, such as Guatemala's gas pipeline with Mexico, Panama's infrastructure and Costa Rica's services sector.
