Central America fails to exploit opportunities with European Union

Three years after the implementation of the Association Accord between Central America and Europe, the Central American nations have failed to exploit its potential.

A study by the Central American regional economic authority, Sieca, shows that only 0.13 percent of the European Union’s total imports are from Central America.
