Central America gives Cemex a helping hand

The net sales of Mexico’s Cemex, one of the world’s leading cement makers, totaled $1. 4 billion last year, a drop of 17 percent.

Company officials made clear, however, that operations in Central America continue to do well, particularly in Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Guatemala.
