Latin American exports increased by 26 percent this year, the Inter-American Development Bank reported.
But the bank said it expected the growth to slow down in 2012 as a result of the difficulties faced by the world economy.
Central America's exports grew by 20 percent this year, while Mexico's were up by 19 percent.
